Webflow pricing, as of September 2026, comes down to two bills: a site plan that hosts each website, and a workspace plan for the people building it. Most Indian businesses need exactly one of each: the Premium site plan at $25 a month billed yearly, and the free Starter workspace. Everything else on Webflow's pricing page is for online stores, for large teams, or an add-on you can ignore until traffic proves you need it. This guide lists every live plan and price, converts a realistic stack to rupees, and shows where the money actually goes. Spoiler: it is not the subscription.
| Plan | Price (USD, billed yearly) | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Starter site plan | Free | Learning, prototypes, webflow.io subdomain only |
| Basic site plan | $15/mo | Brochure sites with no blog or CMS |
| Premium site plan | $25/mo | Company sites with a blog, case studies, or any CMS content |
| Team platform plan | $2,500/mo, annual contract | Marketing teams needing localization, workflows, and pooled seats |
| Ecommerce Standard | $29/mo | Small stores under 500 products, 2% transaction fee |
| Starter workspace | Free | One person managing paid sites, 2 staging sites |
| Core workspace | $19/mo | Solo builders who need 10 staging sites and custom code on staging |
| Freelancer workspace | $16/mo | Freelancers handling a few client sites |
The verdict for a typical business site: Premium, billed yearly, on the free Starter workspace. That is $300 a year to Webflow for hosting, CMS, forms, and a global CDN. Basic saves $120 a year but drops the CMS, which is a false economy the moment you want a blog. Team is a different product for a different buyer. All figures below are from Webflow's pricing page, in USD, per site, with applicable taxes added at checkout; month-to-month billing costs more on every paid tier, and Webflow's own toggle advertises savings of up to 40% for yearly.
Webflow site plans: what each tier buys you
A site plan attaches to one website and is what makes it publishable on your own domain. This is where the old CMS and Business tiers used to live. They are gone. The 2026 lineup is Starter, Basic, Premium, Team, and Enterprise, plus a separate set of ecommerce plans. If you are still new to the platform, what is Webflow covers what it is and is not before you spend on any of these.
Starter (free)
Starter is a permanent free tier, not a trial. You get the full Designer, a webflow.io subdomain, 2 static pages, 50 CMS items, 1 GB of bandwidth, and 50 form submissions. It is enough to build an entire site and share a live link, which is why we tell founders to design first and pay only when the real domain is ready. The limits, the badge, and the subdomain are covered in detail in our free-plan breakdown, so the short version here: free to build, paid to run a business.
Basic ($15/mo billed yearly, $25 month-to-month)
Basic adds the custom domain, 300 static pages, 10 GB of bandwidth, unlimited form submissions, and password protection. It removes the CMS. Webflow's own description is "for simple sites that don't need a CMS", and that is exactly who should buy it: a five-page services site, a portfolio, a single-product landing page. If there is any chance you will publish a blog, case studies, a team directory, or a list of locations in the next year, skip Basic. Migrating static pages into CMS collections later is real work, and the price gap to Premium is $10 a month.
Premium ($25/mo billed yearly)
Premium is the plan almost every business site should be on. Everything in Basic, plus the full CMS with up to 20,000 items across 40 collections, 50 GB of bandwidth included, form file uploads, content APIs, scheduled publishing, and the CMS features that make a marketing team self-sufficient. Bandwidth is an add-on, not a plan jump: on yearly billing, 100 GB adds $20 a month, 150 GB adds $40, 200 GB adds $60, and the ladder continues up to 2.5 TB. A content site doing a few hundred thousand pageviews a month normally sits well inside the included 50 GB if images are optimized, which is a build-quality question, not a plan question.
Team and Enterprise
Team is new in 2026 and is priced at $2,500 a month on an annual contract. It bundles a Premium-grade site with workspace features that used to be scattered: Webflow Localize with 2 locales, AEO agents, publishing workflows, 5 full seats plus 5 limited seats, and 100,000 AI credits a year. Enterprise is custom-quoted on top of that with governance, uptime SLAs, and dedicated support. The way to know you need Team is that you are already paying for Growth, several full seats, and Localize separately and the sum is approaching the bundle.
Ecommerce plans
Ecommerce plans replace, not stack on, the standard site plan. Standard is $29 a month for 500 products with a 2% transaction fee. Plus is $74 a month for 5,000 products and drops the transaction fee to 0%. Advanced is $212 a month for 15,000 products. Once your monthly sales pass roughly $2,250, the 2% fee on Standard costs more than the $45 jump to Plus. For most Indian D2C brands we still point to Shopify for the store and Webflow for the marketing site, because Webflow's checkout and payment gateway options in India remain narrower.
Workspace plans, seats, and add-ons
This is the half of Webflow pricing that confuses people, because it is billed per workspace and per seat rather than per site. A workspace is your account's container for projects and collaborators. Every account gets one free, and a free workspace can hold unlimited paid hosted sites. You do not need a paid workspace to publish a paid site.
Workspace plans
Webflow splits these into two menus. For in-house teams: Starter is free with 2 staging sites and 200 AI credits; Core is $19 a month for 10 staging sites, 300 AI credits, and custom code on staging; Growth is $49 a month for unlimited staging sites, 400 AI credits, code export, and shared libraries. For freelancers and agencies: Freelancer is $16 a month for 10 staging sites, free guest access in client workspaces, and one free client seat per paid site; Agency is $35 a month for a larger client roster with shared libraries. All prices are billed yearly. Staging sites are unpublished projects, which is why a business running one live site rarely needs to leave Starter.
Seats
Seats are how collaborators get billed. A full seat, which can design entire sites and manage admin settings, is $39 per seat per month billed yearly. A limited seat, which can edit content and build pages from components, is $15 per seat per month. Reviewer and commenter seats are free. For a business that hires an agency to build and keeps one marketer editing blog posts, the right setup is zero full seats in-house, one limited seat for the marketer, and the agency working as a guest. We set this up for most clients; the recurring bill stays close to the site plan alone.
Add-ons
Four add-ons are priced on the page, each billed per site, with yearly rates shown. Localize comes in two tiers: Essential at $9 a month per locale for up to 3 locales, and Advanced at $29 a month per locale for up to 10, with hreflang sitemaps and localized meta. Analyze, Webflow's built-in analytics, starts at $9 a month for 2,000 sessions and climbs to $229 a month at 500,000 sessions; Google Analytics is still free, so treat this as a convenience buy. Optimize, the A/B testing and personalization layer, starts at $299 a month for 25,000 page views and reaches $1,199 a month at 500,000. AI credits top up at $20 a month for 2,000 credits if the workspace allocation runs out.
What Webflow actually costs a business in India
The subscription is the smallest line on the invoice. Here is a realistic year-one stack for a Bengaluru B2B company that wants a custom-designed site with a blog and case studies, converted at an assumed ₹85 to the dollar (check the live rate on the day you subscribe), before GST.
| Cost item | Assumption | Approx. year-one cost (INR) |
|---|---|---|
| Webflow Premium site plan | $25/mo billed yearly, $300/yr | ₹25,000–₹26,000 |
| Workspace plan | Free Starter, agency works as guest | ₹0 |
| Domain (.com or .in) | Registrar renewal, no premium name | ₹800–₹1,500 |
| Custom design and build | Agency, 8-15 pages, CMS, integrations | ₹50,000–₹5,00,000+ |
| Optional: one limited seat | In-house marketer editing content | ₹15,000–₹16,000 |
Two things to read off that table. First, the platform fee lands around ₹2,100 a month, comparable to decent managed WordPress hosting once you add a caching plugin and a security plugin, except updates, CDN, SSL, and backups are included. Webflow adds applicable taxes at checkout, so budget GST on top for an Indian billing address. Second, the build is where the budget decision lives. Our published India website cost guide puts custom Webflow builds at ₹50,000 to ₹5,00,000+ depending on page count, design depth, CMS structure, and integrations, with single landing pages below that band and template builds at the bottom of it.
What the build fee should buy, so quotes are comparable: custom design as reusable components, a CMS your team can run without a developer, forms wired to your CRM, analytics with real conversion events, and SEO foundations. We break down each layer in Webflow development services. A quote that is a fraction of the band for the same scope is a template configuration wearing a custom-build label, which is fine if you knowingly bought that.
The recurring cost worth budgeting that nobody lists: maintenance hours. On Webflow this is mostly content and the occasional design tweak, since there is no plugin stack to patch. That is the real reason total cost of ownership tends to favor Webflow for marketing sites over three years even when the monthly fee is higher than shared hosting.
Webflow pricing vs WordPress and Framer
Against WordPress, the sticker comparison is misleading in both directions. WordPress core is free, but a business site needs managed hosting, a premium theme or page builder, a handful of paid plugins, and someone to keep all of it updated. Webflow's $300 a year replaces the hosting and most of the plugin licenses, and removes the update labor. WordPress wins on price when you have in-house technical time and need functionality Webflow does not have, such as membership communities or complex ecommerce. Our Webflow vs WordPress comparison works through the three-year cost picture rather than the monthly fee.
Against Framer, entry pricing is in the same neighbourhood and Framer is often the cheaper option for a designer-led site with a small blog. The gaps show up as the site grows: CMS depth, localization pricing, form handling, and the breadth of the agency ecosystem. If you expect to hand the site to a marketing team that will run hundreds of CMS items and multiple integrations, Webflow's plan structure ages better. If you want a fast, beautiful launch and expect to rebuild in two years anyway, Framer is a reasonable call. Webflow vs Framer goes through the feature-by-feature verdict.
The honest summary of Webflow pricing: you are paying a premium for a platform that removes a category of work. Whether that premium is worth $10 or $20 a month depends entirely on what your team's time costs, which is a question only you can price.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Webflow cost per month?
As of September 2026, Webflow site plans are free (Starter), $15 a month (Basic), and $25 a month (Premium), all billed yearly, with Team at $2,500 a month on an annual contract. Month-to-month billing is higher on every paid tier. Workspace plans start free, and paid tiers run $16 to $49 a month. All prices are in USD, per site, plus applicable taxes.
Is Webflow free to use?
Yes, permanently. The Starter site plan gives you the full Designer, 2 static pages, 50 CMS items, 1 GB of bandwidth, and 50 form submissions on a webflow.io subdomain. You pay only when you connect a custom domain, which requires a Basic or Premium site plan. The free tier does not expire, so you can build the entire site before spending anything.
Which Webflow plan do I need for a blog or content site?
Premium, at $25 a month billed yearly. It is the only standard site plan that includes the Webflow CMS, with 20,000 items across 40 collections, plus 50 GB of bandwidth and form file uploads. Basic has no CMS at all, so a blog, case studies, or any repeating content type rules it out regardless of how small the site is today.
Do I need a paid workspace plan as well as a site plan?
Usually not. The free Starter workspace can hold unlimited paid hosted sites; paid workspace plans mainly add staging sites, AI credits, and collaboration features. A business with one live site and an agency working as a guest stays on the free workspace. Add a limited seat at $15 a month only if an in-house editor needs to log in regularly.
Is Webflow pricing worth it compared to WordPress in India?
For marketing and lead-generation sites, usually yes over a three-year horizon. Webflow's roughly ₹2,100 a month covers hosting, CDN, SSL, backups, and the CMS, and there is no plugin stack to patch. WordPress costs less in cash when you have technical time in-house or need features Webflow lacks, such as membership communities or complex ecommerce.
