Framer pricing looks simple on the surface: two paid site plans, a free tier and an enterprise tier. The real bill shows up in editor seats, add-ons and the limits you hit six months in. Every number below comes from the live framer.com/pricing page as of October 2026, converted to rupees at an assumed ₹85 per US dollar, followed by a year-one cost stack for a typical Indian business site and an honest comparison with Webflow. Framer's page defaults to yearly billing, so these are yearly-billing rates; the monthly toggle shows a higher rate.

Framer adds applicable sales tax at checkout based on your location, so budget for GST on top of every figure here.
What each Framer plan actually includes
Free: a design tool, not a business site
A Framer subdomain, 1 GB of bandwidth, 500 AI credits, and per Framer's FAQ up to 10 CMS collections, 1,000 pages and three collaborators. No custom domain, and the site carries a "Made in Framer" banner according to Framer's plan comparison article.
Basic: $10 a month for small, static-heavy sites
Basic unlocks a custom domain (complimentary on yearly billing), 30 pages, 2 CMS collections, 1,000 CMS items, 50 GB of monthly bandwidth, 20 CDN locations, 30 days of analytics and 1,000 AI credits a month, capped at 10 seats. Framer positions it for students, freelancers and small studios.
Pro: $30 a month for the marketing site most businesses run
Pro raises the limits to 150 pages, 10 CMS collections, 2,500 CMS items and 100 GB of bandwidth on 300+ CDN locations, with 90 days of analytics and 3,000 AI credits a month. The Pro card also lists site redirects, staging and branching with previews, none of which appear on Basic. Seats are unlimited, and only Pro lets limits scale with usage: extra pages cost $20 per 100 (700 max), collections $40 per 10 (40 max), CMS items $20 per 10,000 (40,000 max) and bandwidth $40 per 100 GB (2 TB max).
Enterprise: custom limits, SSO and an uptime guarantee
Quote-based and annual: custom limits, unlimited editors, SCIM and SSO, an uptime guarantee and advanced hosting included.
Framer cost in year one: editors, add-ons and the plan you actually need
Editor seats. The workspace owner and viewers are free. Anyone who designs and publishes is an additional editor at $20 a month; a content editor who only updates CMS and on-page text is $10 a month, billed monthly regardless of your plan's cycle. Framer Pro Experts get free editor access on client projects, so an agency-built site often carries zero seat cost until you add your own team.
Add-ons. Localization is $20 per locale per month, so a Hindi plus English site adds $240 a year (about ₹20,400). Convert, the A/B testing add-on, is $50 per 500,000 analytics events with up to 5 tests. Advanced hosting, for multiple sites and custom headers under one domain, is a flat $200.
Overages. Framer lets you exceed bandwidth for one month, then asks you to upgrade. Basic's limits are fixed, so a blog that outgrows 2 collections moves to Pro.
The year-one stack for a typical Indian business site: 15 to 40 pages with a blog, one marketing person editing content, single language, built by a Pro Expert.
| Year-one item | What it covers | Cost (USD / INR at ₹85) |
|---|---|---|
| Pro site plan, yearly | Hosting, CMS, staging, redirects, 100 GB bandwidth | $360 / ₹30,600 |
| One content editor | Your marketing person editing CMS and page text | $120 / ₹10,200 |
| Custom domain | Complimentary on yearly billing | $0 / ₹0 |
| Platform total before tax | Add GST at checkout | $480 / ₹40,800 |
A solo founder on Basic who edits everything personally pays $120 (₹10,200) a year. A team needing one design editor and a second language on Pro pays $360 + $240 + $240 = $840 (₹71,400). Neither includes the design and build; for that see our guide to how much a website costs to make in India.
Which plan do most businesses need? Pro. Basic's 30 pages and 2 collections fit a portfolio or a one-product landing site, but a blog plus case studies plus a team directory is already 3 collections. Redirects matter the moment you migrate an old site, and staging matters once more than one person can publish. The $20 a month gap is smaller than one broken redirect on a ranking page.
Investment Range:
₹30,600 – ₹71,400 a year on Framer Pro, before GST, depending on editor seats and locales
Best for:
Indian service businesses, startups and B2B companies running a marketing site with a blog, case studies and at least one non-founder editor.

Framer pricing vs Webflow pricing: where each one wins
Webflow numbers come from the live webflow.com/pricing page fetched the same day. Webflow Basic is $15 a month on yearly billing ($25 billed monthly) with 300 static pages, 10 GB of bandwidth and no CMS. Webflow Premium is $25 a month on yearly billing ($39 billed monthly) with the CMS, 20,000 CMS items, 40 collections and bandwidth starting at 50 GB and scaling to 2.5 TB. Webflow's free Starter plan gives 2 static pages and 1 GB of bandwidth on a webflow.io domain.
Where Framer wins. Entry price: Framer Basic at $10 undercuts Webflow Basic at $15 and includes a small CMS where Webflow Basic has none. Framer Pro has unlimited seats priced per editor, so a two-person team runs Pro plus one content editor for $40 a month. Framer's free plan is also a far more usable design tool, with 1,000 pages against Webflow Starter's 2.
Where Webflow wins. Content scale. Webflow Premium's 20,000 CMS items and 40 collections at $25 cost less than Framer Pro's 2,500 items at $30, and Webflow Basic ships 300 static pages against Framer Basic's 30. If the CMS is the product (a large blog, a directory, a job board), Webflow is cheaper per item. For the full tier breakdown read our Webflow pricing guide, and for the design, CMS and SEO trade-offs beyond price see Webflow vs Framer.
Our short verdict on Framer pricing: fair and predictable for a marketing site under 150 pages with a modest blog, and increasingly expensive as your content library grows or your team needs several design editors. Price the plan, seats and locales together. If you want that decision made against your real page count, content volume and team, our website development team builds on both platforms and will say which plan fits before design starts.

Frequently asked questions
Is Framer free to use?
Yes, with limits. As of October 2026 Framer's Free plan publishes to a Framer subdomain with 1 GB of bandwidth, 500 AI credits, up to 1,000 pages and 10 CMS collections, and a "Made in Framer" banner. You cannot connect a custom domain on the free plan, so a business site needs at least Basic at $10 a month on yearly billing.
How much does Framer cost per year in India?
At an assumed ₹85 per US dollar, Framer Basic costs about ₹10,200 a year and Framer Pro about ₹30,600 a year on yearly billing, before GST. A typical business site on Pro with one content editor comes to roughly ₹40,800 a year. Each additional design editor or language locale adds about ₹20,400 a year.
Does Framer charge for extra editors?
Yes. The workspace owner and viewers are free, but every additional design editor is $20 a month and every content editor is $10 a month, billed monthly even on a yearly plan and charged within 24 hours of the seat being added. Framer Pro Experts get free editor access on client projects, which keeps agency-built sites cheaper to run.
Is Framer cheaper than Webflow?
At the entry level, yes: Framer Basic is $10 a month against Webflow Basic at $15, and it includes a small CMS. For content-heavy sites, no: Webflow Premium at $25 a month includes 20,000 CMS items, while Framer Pro at $30 includes 2,500 and charges extra beyond that. Pick by CMS volume and team size, not headline price.
